In the past 10 years Hortimare has become very experienced in propagating seedlings of brown algae (Saccharina and Alaria).
We are able to deliver high quality starting material thanks to the close collaboration between our R&D and production department.
Currently Hortimare’s focus is on the species Saccharina latissima and Alaria esculenta. We have also started working on the propagation of Palmaria palmata, which we would like to add to the assortment in the near future.
